SUMMARY:
Reporting to an Assistant Director, Financial Aid Counselors complete financial aid casework (need analysis, packaging, verification, appeals, and aid changes) and provide counseling in an environment that is committed to providing exceptional service. Counselors are personally committed to understanding and meeting the unique needs of students and families and demonstrate skills necessary for resolving difficult situations. Counselors assist in the administration of financial aid for students, including scholarships, loans, grants, etc., for Arts, Sciences, and Engineering.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general direction and with latitude for independent judgment:
• Counseling
• Application Processing and Award Packaging


REQUIREMENTS: COVER LETTER MUST BE PAGE ONE OF THE RESUME
Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in college or university financial aid administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Microsoft Suite of Products or the equivalent and data analysis required.
